About

I'm a full-stack developer who works across frontend and backend, building web applications that are intuitive for end-users and easy for clients to operate. I came from recruitment and operations, which means I spend a lot of time translating what clients say they want into what they actually need.

Currently, I'm at Inspect Element, a startup venture builder where I work with early-stage companies on everything from e-commerce platforms to booking systems. Day-to-day that means building frontends in React and Next.js, backend systems with Python and Django, admin dashboards, CMS integrations, payment flows, and connecting various third-party services.

Before engineering, I spent a few years in recruitment in Hong Kong and then in Tokyo, headhunting talent from SaaS companies. Prior to that, I worked in operations at Gobee.bike during the bike-sharing boom. After years in the tech world, I decided I'd rather build the software than recruit for it.

I'm based in Hong Kong and work with clients across Asia and beyond. I built a few games for this site if you want to test your Pokemon knowledge or typing speed. Bored?
